Episode 24 - What is Christ's Call to Us
What does it look like to represent Jesus? It doesn’t mean wearing Christian apparel and walking around like a billboard for Jesus. It looks as simple as living the way He called us to live. This means showing love not only to the skaters at the park you get along with, but also to the ones who may seem like they’re against you. We are called not only to be nice to them, but actually go out of our way to serve them. When we rep Jesus, we carry with us the fruit of the spirit to a hurting world in desperate need of the Lord.

Episode 23 - Jesus' Death and Resurrection
If Jesus never rose from the dead, He would have just been a nice guy who did some crazy miracles. If He never came back, these disciples would have never died for their faith and we would have no reason to believe in Jesus! There would be no Christianity if He didn’t live out His wildest of claims, which was raising Himself from the grave.

Episode 22 - Birth and Life of Jesus
When you think of a king, you think of the big guy in charge on his gold throne with everything served to him on a silver platter. What if I told you our king was born in a barn? And instead of constantly being served, he was the one actually serving everyone else. What if I told you he didn’t just love and serve those who loved him but also served the one he knew would be the reason he died? What would you think of this king?

1 Corinthians tells us that the only foundation to life can be found in Jesus Christ. But who is Jesus? A good man, a prophet, a teacher, the son of God? All good answers, but do they fully grasp who Jesus really is? So to answer a complex question a simply as possible; Jesus is God’s perfect human expression of God’s will, mind, and thoughts towards His creation.

Episode 20 - Consequences of Sin
The consequences of sin can be summed up by one word: death. Sin severely harms us as it separates us from God and can even lead us to cause others to suffer that same separation. No matter how big or how small the sin is it results in the same consequences that effect us both in life and eternity. Just like there is one thing that can separate us from God, there is only one thing that can save us from this sin.

Episode 19 - How Does God Feel About Sin
Sin always over promises and always under delivers. It continues to promise us happiness, fulfillment, identity, purpose, and that is why God hates it. God hates that sin deceives us into believing we are being lead to satisfaction, when in reality we are left alone filled with shame and guilt. The good news is that God still loves us despite our sin and has a made a way for us to live a new life that fulfills every promise.

Episode 17 - What is Sin
We often choose to live life by our own terms in our own ways. Little do we know that “going our own way” or “following our own path” is how the prophet Isaiah describes sin. Jesus describes sin ranging from the extremes of murder to the simplicity of calling someone a fool. What these individuals are doing is reminding us that each and every one of us is subject to sin. Just because we are all subject to it doesn’t mean we have to give in and live in fear, so what can we do?

Episode 15 - Comparing God to Us
Defining words like perfection and holiness it is hard not to include God in that description. But what do those words actually mean? If we conclude that God is the only sum of what it is to be perfect and is all things holy, what does He mean when He calls us to be holy as He is holy? Is that even possible as a people who are innately imperfect living in a sin-filled world?

Episode 14 - What is the Trinity
The word “trinity” may not be found anywhere in the Bible, yet it’s a word that often comes up when discussing Christianity. More specifically it is used to help explain the nature of God. So what does it mean for us when we refer to God as one distinct being that is made of three different parts?

Episode 13 - The Character of God
For most people they will avoid ever approaching God or pursuing Him because they feel like they’re inadequate. They’ll stand on the sidelines of “Christianity” afraid to step in because they’re worried they aren’t good enough to do so, or that they won’t be accepted by God because of their past failures and mistakes. Others may worry that God is too strict and rules over us with an iron fist, but these ideas a far from the reality of God’s true character. The truth is that there is nothing we can do to make God love us more; however, there is also nothing we can do to make Him love us any less. So how much does He actually love us and why?

Episode 12 - Who is God
God is a mystery. For most of us it is hard to simply describe who He is exactly. Part of that reason is because God is beyond our understanding. Honestly, if we could simply understand everything about God, would He be worth worshipping? Probably not, and the same goes for the opposite because we at least have to know something about Him in order to worship Him. Thankfully God doesn’t leave us in the dark. Throughout scripture God is revealing to us more about who He is.

Episode 11 - How Do We Study the Bible
The Bible is truly unlike any other book. It’s actually a living and active book that can speak to us in completely unique ways. Although that is true, a lot of us don’t know how or where to start. In skateboarding we have pro video parts, trick tips, and friends who can show us how to learn new tricks and use better foot positioning. That isn’t any different with learning to study the Bible. Hopefully these few tips and suggestions can help lead to you hearing God speak through His written word!

Episode 9 - Is Scripture Still Relevant
While there was literally nothing, before the creation of the world, the heavens, stars, or our universe, God existed. This was the beginning of the world that we're apart of and where our story began. Even though the Bible has technically already been written and “finished” a couple thousand years ago, that doesn’t mean the story is over. It is still active and going just like how God is active in our everyday lives. And if that’s the case, then it’s safe to say that scripture is definitely relevant.

Episode 8 - Can the Bible be Trusted
For most people, they have never given the Bible a chance because there is a fear that exists with the uncertainty, or lack of confidence, that they can put all of their trust and faith in it. No matter whatever someone else has experienced proving the validity of God’s word, most of us won’t budge until we have witnessed it ourselves. In order to experience it firsthand you need to seek His will, read His word, and then you’ll notice the amazing things the Lord is and has been doing all around you.

Episode 6 - What is the Bible
Life isn’t so different than skateboarding in the dark. It can feel pretty chaotic sometimes, like we don’t know where we are or how to get there. Just when we feel like we have it all together, we hit a pebble we couldn’t see and get tossed flat on our face. One of the many purposes the Bible has is to be for all people in the same way that light is for skaters. Without the word of God, we would be lost not knowing how to navigate our own lives. Thankfully God, who created life, knows how we should live and rather than keep it a secret from us, has laid it out for us in His word. This week in Episode 6, we discuss what the Bible is and the power that is within it.

Episode 5 - The Meaning of Life
We all have the desire to live out our calling, but figuring out what that calling is seems to be the question most people ask in life. What is it that I want to do with my life? What was I created to do? What brings me the most fulfilment? Everyone is searching for something that makes their life feel like it’s worth living. For most it ends up being the pursuit of money, fame, or recognition. But in those pursuits, there is something deeper that most are seeking. There is only one thing that is not temporary, one thing that is worth living for, worth pursuing, and worth putting above all else. That is love.
